Wye Oak New Live Tracks

Baltimore’s Wye Oak played the Creative Alliance on March 1st and are offering the tracks for download. They played four new songs in the set, so if you had already gotten into Wye Oaks album a year ago when they were Monarch and are itching to hear some new material from the duo, then this is a pretty good quality recording to see where they are going next.

Tracklisting
1) Intro
2) Please Concrete
3) Warning
4) Untitled (New)
5) I Don’t Feel Young
6) Family Glue
7) Mary is Mary (New)
8) Half a Double Man (New)
9) Untitled (New)
10) I Want for Nothing
11) Obituary

  1. Thanks for sharing the music! Wye Oak is a fantastic band and we in Baltimore are quite excited that they are becoming known outside Charm City.

For the record, Wye Oak isn’t responsible for offering this recording for your aural pleasure. I taped the show and Aural States spread the word.

You should bookmark Aural States as they will continue to offer live recordings of Baltimore’s finest bands. Here’s the link to Aural States’ blog on this Wye Oak show:

Another local site to check out is Beatbots:

Beatbots is where the bulk of my recordings show up, all available for free to listen and/or download.
