Tobacco (of Black Moth Super Rainbow) Solo Debut

If you enjoyed last years bleached out physchedlic experimentation of Dandelion from Black Moth Super Rainbow, but enjoy your music a little darker, then you might want to check out the solo debut of Tobacco (birth name?), F***ed Up Friends, due out Oct. 14th. You might have seen the “I feel like I’m watching born but really I’m just watching girls blow bubblegum” video on P4K (See below) or heard “Dirt” which has a cameo by Aesop Rock. The latest track from the album “Truck Sweat” has some warbly bleeps and bloops over a minimalist beat in the intro and then adds layer after layer in the chorus for what could be the soundtrack to a cheesy 70’s cop show in the “chorus”. Well worth the listen. (video, tracklist, and tour dates below)
