NPR’s 25 Best Albums of 2011 so far

Pretty good list just for the fact that it’s got things on it that you probably haven’t heard yet and covers more than just indie.

NPR’s Best New Electronic Music

One of my pet peeves is when I am listening to electronic music and somebody walks by and says “Heyyy man! you going to a rave or something”. I really just want to punch people when they do this. Not all electronic music is rave music people!

Anyways, NPR has a great list of some new electronic music, a lot of which you might not have heard before. I like the fact that Mount Kimbie is on this list, been on repeat for me the last couple weeks, sounds like a cross between Sun Araw and Four Tet.
