R.I.P. Donna Summer

Sad news in the music world as disco queen Donna Summer passed away today. As you know we’re pretty big fans of italo/disco and when the production of Giorgio Moroder combined with the vocals/sexiness of Donna Summer it was gold (boots). My dad gave me his original greatest hits double album he had of hers, so i know what will be playin for the next couple days.

Mobtown Mix – 35 – Disco Part Deux

So it’s been a while since i’ve done a mix, and the last one i did was disco, so figured it was a good way to motivate me to get back into it by doing another disco one.  I promise the next one will be disco free.  The last one i did was more new artists/bands channeling the disco/italo aesthetic.  This time it’s a mix of old and new.  Enjoy. (special thanks to Disco dust and waves at night as i got a couple of these tracks from there)
