Baltimore’s own Small Sur stopped by Daytrotter to record a live session that includes new songs as well as a couple from their 2008 debut album We Live In Houses Made of Wood. I’ve been lucky to see some intimate shows from the band and frontman Bob Keal and this session does a great job of showing just how subdued and soothing these guys are in a live setting. I would say this band is one of the more criminally underrated local bands.

Looks like they are hoping to have their follow-up album out sometime this year, which I will surely be anticipating, and will hopefully get them more deserved attention.
