Shake your booty friday
In keeping with the italo disco theme i started last week, here are two tracks that have a lot of similarities: synth heavy, title tracks, opening tracks, and are on albums with sah-weet album covers. The first one is a track from italo disco pioneer (who also wrote all the music in top gun, including “Take my breath away”…who knew?) Giorgio Moroder, taken from his highly influential 1977 album From Here To Eternity.

Next is a more current-day take on synthesizers and 80’s goodness by French band Anoraak, from their album Nightdrive With You (released Sept. 8th). This song reminds me of a mix between the downtempo electronics of Junior Boys with the 80’s nostalgia of M83.
