Nine Inch Nails Influence: Skinny Puppy

Having grown up being a pretty big Nine Inch Nails fan, I had always heard mentions of Skinny Puppy being such a huge influence of Trents (as well as the whole industrial scene) and I had never really looked into it until now.

Thanks to wikipedia:

Their influence extends … to mainstream stars Nine Inch Nails, who opened for Skinny Puppy for a short time on their 1988 North American tour. Trent Reznor also acknowledged that Skinny Puppy’s “Dig It” inspired the very first Nine Inch Nails track written that became the first hit song, “Down in It”.
