Coincidentally, I put the first She Sir album on over the holidays, it was the first time I had listen to it in a couple years, and was surprised at how well it still held up since the multitude of shoegaze bands that have either resurfaced or started since then. Has it really been over 3 years since they put out Who Can’t Say Yes? So, needless to say, I am pretty excited to hear news of a new She Sir LP, “Yens” due out for a digital release on January 15th.

Here is the first single, “Lemongrass,” and they make the genre seem so simple and melodic, this just breezes by as easily as anything on their previous album, while still taking steps in new directions. Seems like their production has gotten better, and they have added some more vocal harmonies.
