New Metric Single: Stream, Video, Accoustic MP3

Metric has just started their first wave of online marketing.  Offering up a melee of versions of their first song, “Help I’m Alive”, off of forthcoming album Fantasies.  below you will find the stream of the album version, a video which includes Emily talking about feeling lost and relocating to Beunos Aires for clarity and fresh ideas, and a link to an MP3 download of the acoustic version of the song.  Did i mention both versions sound GREAT, for their own reason?

The album version sounds pounding, catchy, urgent, and honestly, back to what i loved so much about their first album, while the acoustic version takes the lyrics and transforms it into a more personal experience with a more somber tone.  I am officially excited about this album now.

Note:  I normally wouldn’t post all three versions, but i think each one has its own worth in this case.
