New Efterklang – “Modern Drift”
The last time and first time I was getting into Efterklang was back in 2007 for their exceptional album Parades… which honestly I completely had forgotten about until now. I remember Parades being this sweeping, epic-ly orchestrated, but soft, album that was great to put on at night before going to bed or on a lazy Sunday morning.
“Modern Drift” is a great song and makes me want to go explore their back catalog in anticipation for Magic Chairs, set to be released in February 2010.
It also reminded me of this great animatted music video they did:
