New Dungeonesse (Jenn Wasner/Jon Ehrens) – Shucks

Last time we checked in with Wye Oak’s Jenn Wasner and White Life’s Jon Ehrens, they were giving us a taste of their new pop project Dungeonesse with their first track “Drive You Crazy” which was a bit of a spastic pop-glitch number that was pretty good. But now they truly show their cards with the fantastic “Shucks”, which shows the duo going for a  full on snyth-R&B-love-jam that wouldn’t be out of place at a 1997 prom or a 2013 3AM afterparty. (the album is out 5/14)
