Quarterlifeparty

Head over to The Decemberists website for a free download of a new song “The Rakes Song”.  When it first starts out I was thinking this was going to be typical Decemberists fair, but then you actually start to hear some distortion and pounding drums. The rythym guitar sounds a bit Weezerish but this is definitely interesting territory for the band. I’m still on the fence about it, but it’s worth the free download.
