Me and Brent have been totally in love with Mew’s upcoming album No More Stories… (out physically 8/25) since we got our hands on it about a month ago.  It’s a strong contender for one of the best albums of the year, but then again we’re also pretty big Mew fans.

They are now streaming the album in it’s entirety on their myspace page, and you can buy it right now on iTunes for $7.99 and includes 3 bonus tracks (this week only).  I highly recommend at least streaming it.  Prog-tastic.

Also if you’re in the LA area, they are putting on something they call the Mewseum at Zune LA.  Details after the jump:

What: Columbia Records presents Mewseum at Zune L.A. which will consist of a six day still and cinematic installation and a special performance event on August 31^st.

Special Performance Event: On August 31st, Mew will perform an intimate show, as well as, premiere a video trilogy for their first three album singles created by award winning director Martin De Thurah. This will include the world premiere of their videos for “Repeaterbeater” and “Beach.”

Gallery Information: Mewseum hours will run through the dates August 29^th until September 3^rd and admission is FREE to all. For hours see below:

8/ 30 Sun: 12pm – 6 pm

8/31 Mon: 4pm -10pm *Special Performance Event 7pm – 10pm

The gallery will showcase the Martin de Thurah videos all week long as well as videos from the bands past releases. Images and stills from the current album and videos will also be displayed and a limited edition will be available for purchase along with the cd and vinyl.
