I am knee-deep in meetings in Denver, but here are some bits that have piqued my interest in the past couple days:

Of Montreal score best new music over at the fork.

Menomena, not surprisingly, also received best new music.

The Knife’s (knives?) Silent Shout will get the deluxe treatment with a live dvd and a live concert disk. good stuff.

Snowden will be playing Sonar on February 16th…see you there.

“Alt-country” crooner Nicole Atkins (who opened for The National a couple years ago, and was jaw dropping) released a new EP. check out “Carouselle” (MP3). good stuff.
