James Murphy on new LCD Album: “record: march. tour: after.”
Yes please. Seems LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy used facebook to relay the message “record: march. tour: after.” And goes on to say that the band will be better than ever. Pitchfork has all the details.
Earlier in the month he also talked to MOJO about the album:
I’m working on a song called ‘Why Do You Hate Music?’. Everyone seems to hate music right now, even people who make music. There’s a song called ‘Love In LA’, which has an Eddy Grant, Sly & Robbie feel. I’m doing what I set out to do on Sound of Silver, which is take more chances.
