Every hipsters favorite mash-up master, Girl Talk (Greg Gillis), will be showing off his laptop skills at the ottobar on April 6th. I hear his live shows are insane, and i can’t wait to see this guy.

I do find it ironic though that about a year ago all the hipsters/music aficionados were decrying anything slightly associated with mash-ups and now they are all over this shit. I think it is just an excuse for them to hear the Yin Yang Twins mashed with the Pixes. I have always liked mash-ups when they are done well, and this Girl Talk takes it to a WHOLE new level. The guy has skills.
