Future Islands New MP3’s: “In The Fall”, “Tin Man”
Baltimore’s own Future Islands are about ready to release their first LP, titled In Evening Air, on May 5th and if the rest of the album sounds anything close to these two songs i think this band is gonna have a pretty busy 2010. “In The Fall” also features Katrina Ford, lead singer of Celebration.
Even better news is that they will be playing Zodiac in bmore next monday (april 5th) so you can see these songs played live for yourself. see you there.
If you wanna play the “sounds like” game: the vocals of Tom Waits mixed with the instruments of Animal Collective.
