Early Silver Jews “Knowledge of Back Roads”
Silver Jews were originally made up of David Berman, Stephen Malkmus and Bob Nastanovich, formed around the same time as Pavement. This lineup only stayed together through one album (1994′s Starlight Walker) as David Berman became the only consistent member through the rest of their 5 albums, breaking up in 2009.
On June 19th, Early Times will be released, a incredibly rough recording of the bands early recordings. I mean “rough” recording in the best way possible, because how else would you want to listen to this dischordant group of artists?
