One of the surprise bands I saw this year at coachella was Ratatat.  Their albums were always catchy to me, but something about seeing them wailing on their guitars brings the albums alive and makes you realize what they are going for on the albums.  That and i found myself dancing a lot more to their set than i anticipated.  I told myself:  they are not to be missed next time they come to town.

Now that time is upon us, as they are playing at Sonar Sunday October 5th as part of “Taxlo Presents…”.  Not only will Ratatat be playing, but the normal Taxlo DJ’s (Cullen and Simon) will be there playing all the latest joints (yes, i just said joints).
