Coachella Artist: Mike Relm
Mike Relm just got off tour with the Peeping Tom crew who will also be at coachella. He is a turntabilist out of San Francisco and has also toured with the Blue Man Group. Being a turntabilist and VJ he samples many popular songs and mashes them up creating songs and visuala rt simulataneously. In the 1990’s Mike Relm played an influential role in the beginning of the skratch movement and was even shown in the documentary “Scratch” mixing with DJ Shadow. What makes him unique is his simulataneous scratching and manipulation of the video screen behind hime creating a experiential visual display that has a huge impact on audiences.
