Chad VanGaalen released Soft Airplanes back in September and for some reason it went under my radar. I haven’t listened to the entire album yet, but after listening to these two gems it has jumped to the top of my list. They sound like quirky nursery rhymes: complex enough to keep your interest but also with simple-sounding melodies that make you feel nice and cozy. Seems this album didn’t fly under the radar to his fellow Canadians as it’s been #1 on their radio charts for the past 3 weeks. Buy it here.
