Quarterlifeparty

So I’m going to see Bruce Springsteen tonight for the 1st time ever.  I’m  not a BOSS super-fan by any means, but I am hoping this show will propel me face first into his catalogue.  I’ve already been enjoying quite a bit of it leading up to tonight’s show, specifically Darnkess on the Edge of Town.

A lot of people speak of his live shows as if it’s a pivotal moment in their musical life (like going to mecca or something), so i guess we will just have to see.  I’m trying not to expect a ton and just see how it goes.  I’m going with some friends who grew up in his hometown (and who’s uncle allegedly “stole” Bruce’s prom date in high school) so that should definitely make it more fun.

Look for a review of some sort to come sometime next week.
