Brooklyn’s Motel Motel sound like a mix between Ryan Adams and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah with a mix of lulling piano and cello in the background to smooth things out. I instantly loved both of these songs, but “coffee”, with the chug-a-lug acoustic (ukulele?) guitar line and the driving vocals howling “i don’t need your help…i can feel helpless on my own”, hit me more on first listen. Both of them are great though, so check it out.
